Gas Fittings Removal Task : RRM Multifunction Tool and Adapters

RRM Multifunction Tool



The RRM Multifunction Tool (MFT) is the star of the June 2012 RRM operations. The "MFT" is designed to connect to a variety of specialized adapters to perform a wide range of servicing tasks on the RRM module.

RRM Multifunction Tool

During RRM operations, the RRM Multifunction Tool removes and stows a T-valve (seen above) on the RRM module.

Once it is attached to the Multifunction Tool, the RRM T-valve Adapter removes a T-valve and stows it along with the T-valve Adapter on the RRM module.

Back in March, the RRM Wire Cutter Tool severed the wire tightly hugging the right side of this Ambient Cap.

The RRM Multifunction Tool removes and stows an Ambient Cap with the help of the aptly named Ambient Cap Adapter.
